About Entrepreneur's Circle
Entrepreneur's Circle is a not-for-profit community initiative created by founders, for founders. We organize regular social events where entrepreneurs can connect in a relaxed setting and befriend like-minded individuals to level up together. Our ticket fees simply cover venue costs and refreshments for the evening, with no profit generated.
We are bringing together some of the most ambitious people in the Greater Toronto Area suburbs - creating a vibrant entrepreneurial community beyond the downtown core.
What to Expect
Join us for an exciting evening of creative pitching and entrepreneurial thinking with our Mini Dragon's Den Challenge! You'll be placed in small teams and given a surprising product concept to develop and pitch to our panel of "dragons."
Each team will receive a unique, unexpected product or service concept that might be practical, whimsical, or somewhere in between. Your challenge: transform this concept into a compelling business pitch.
This event is designed to spark creativity, build your impromptu pitching skills, and most importantly - have fun while connecting with fellow entrepreneurs. No real investment money is at stake - just bragging rights and prizes for the most compelling, creative, or entertaining pitches!
This isn't just another networking event - it's the gathering of our Entrepreneur's Circle, a community where you can be yourself, share your experiences, and build friendships with people who truly "get it." Light food and drinks will be provided throughout the evening.
Evening Rundown
5:30pm Door open - Mingle and refreshments
6:00pm Welcome and team formation
6:15pm Product concepts revealed and team brainstorming begins
7:00pm: Teams prepare final pitches
7:30pm: Dragon's Den pitches (3-5 minutes per team)
8:15pm: Winners announced and closing networking
Membership Approval Process: This is for entrepreneurs only. We carefully review all applications. If something seems off or if it appears you're just joining to sell services, we may decline your application.
Our Community Values
Be Here For Friendship: This is a "no-pitch zone."(other than this dragon's den pitch!) Our events are strictly for building relationships, not business opportunities. Feel free to discuss your business journey and challenges, but please refrain from soliciting clients or services. We'll share contact information with attendees after the event, allowing you to fully engage in the evening without networking pressure.
Be Welcoming: Please make an effort to be inclusive and friendly. When you see new people, try to introduce yourself and make them feel welcome. It'd be matter of time before we know one another better.
