Alrighty folks, I've been seeing a whole lotta talk about what it would look like to reimagine Melbourne's startup ecosystem. The message is CLEAR. We want INNOVATION.
ONE TEENY, TINY, SMALL PROBLEM...
Oops, Australia did it again. There will never be true innovation if we only interact and partner with the same people over and over again. And that includes who we invite into these conversations :)
SO, the solution is clear. Real change & growth of an ecosystem comes from perspectives that come from OUTSIDE the current stage/phase.
We don’t need more of the same.
The same events with the same partners.
The same sponsors.
The same "thought leaders".
We need insight from minds UNLIKE our own. The catch here is that we must challenge our current ideas in order to birth something bigger, better and even more beautiful.
Collaboration and crossover are great, but only if they are actually real and different.
So let's switch it up.
This event will be all about getting everyone's voices heard. NOT just the ones who are obnoxiously loud.
