Pen to Paper
General event description here.
This month's theme is: Writing through Reflection. Explore the labyrinth of your mind as you massage those neglected parts of your brain.
In this session, we’ll explore writing as a way to see ourselves in the world around us. We’ll reflect on how the world lands on us and changes us for good. We'll start with a grounding meditation and moment of connection among the group before moving into fun and challenging writing exercises to ease you out of your comfort zone.
Then, we'll move into a more significant prompt where we’ll break into small groups for a storytelling session. You’ll then use the stories shared with you as a starting point of inspiration to reflect on your own life and articulate through writing.
Perhaps the stories inspire a poem, a funny story, a journal entry, or a confession. The endless possibilities will bring you closer to the community around you and deepen your writing practice.
This workshop will be a safe space for creative expression without judgment.
Great to come solo or with friends. Beginner oriented!!
