Soapbox learns CPR for community care
Do you know what song to sing when doing chest compressions? Find out with your Soapbox friends on Sunday May 4!
Soapbox Project is a third place, hosting events every Tuesday for climate solutions and community building. But we also want to get together and do things outside of Tuesdays. And what better way to build community than learning to save lives!
Who: Anyone who wants to know what to do in the event of a cardiac arrest or choking event.
What: The class will provide adult, child, and infant CPR training as well as choking interventions and use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Where: Seattle Fire Department Headquarters in Pioneer Square.
When: 9:00 AM. I would recommend arriving a bit early just in case.
Why: Preparation is key! Or maybe your organization requires CPR certification.
Bring: $30 in cash or check if you need an official certificate. Otherwise it is free or cash donation based. Water, maybe some snacks, and comfortable clothing is probably best.
Lastly, you'll need to register through the Seattle Fire Department online form to be officially signed up for the class. Do that here:
