About Event

Venture Scale is the state's flagship accelerator designed for the annual Awardees of the Arizona Innovation Challenge (AIC), the nation's largest business plan competition with state dollars. The program ensures that early-stage startups can grow and scale their businesses successfully. The Arizona Commerce Authority is proud to host these founders and their Entrepreneurs-in-Residence for their final graduation pitches!

Since 2011, 150 startups from over 3000 applicants have been selected as AIC awardees. The AIC portfolio is valued at $6.4B, having received over $27M from the State of Arizona and have received $2.6B follow-on equity funding. Previous AIC Awardees include successful startups like CampusLogic, Paradox, GT Medical Technologies, AlgoFace, botco.ai, and Ampcera.
