Aya Hackathon
Welcome to the Aya Hackathon—your chance to build tools and MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers for AI agents, giving them the capability to create & bundle transactions and interact with DeFi tools on any chain. Whether coding solo or teaming up with others, this hackathon is about pushing the boundaries of crypto, AI, and decentralized finance.
Context :
Aya is the first crypto mobile wallet with an integrated AI agent relying on various tools and APIs to help users with their crypto day-to-day lives. The Aya Hackathon series opens the door for programmers to create tools that will be exposed to all the Aya user base, allowing teams to develop products and, eventually, startups that will be promoted within the open Aya ecosystem.
What You’ll Work On :
MCPs + DeFi Automation: Develop Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools and AI services that perform DeFi operations across various blockchains.
What You’ll Get :
Free AI Compute: Aethir and Comput3 provide free AI computing power to supercharge your projects.
Multiple Cash Prizes: Aya, Aethir, and other partner protocols/chains will offer dedicated prize pools. Follow our channels for announcements of our Partners starting next week!
Integration Rewards: If your project is accepted for integration into Aya AI-powered wallet, you’ll receive a $1,000 prize in tokens (up to 20 projects!).
VC Exposure: A panel of VCs will be there to meet you, and you’ll get the chance to pitch your solution for potential seed funding. You’ll also be introduced to the VCs’ portfolio companies. Follow our channels for announcements of our VC partners starting next week!
Jobs & Internships: Partners and other companies will be looking for talent and attending the hackathon in hopes of finding top engineers.

Key Dates & Timeline :
Week of April 14th: We’ll reach out and drop more info in our channels with more detailed information and final instructions so you can prepare and think about what you want to work on.
Week of April 21st: Coding officially kicks off—bring your best ideas to life!
Saturday, May 3rd (IRL Event): Join us at the Al Safa Library in Dubai for the live hackathon finale. The judges will announce winners, prizes will be awarded, and you’ll get to network with VCs and project leads. Follow our channels for announcements of who the judges are starting next week!
