Hobbit Hike - Wetlands Park Nature Preserve Loop

​Meet fellow nerds, enjoy some fresh air, and add a bit of whimsy to your hike! ​

​🏔️Trail: Wetlands Park Nature Preserve Loop

​🏔️ Trail length: 2.1 miles

​🏔️Difficulty: Easy/ 36ft elevation

​🏔️Outfits: Costumes encouraged!

​🏔️Please eat beforehand so you don’t get tired!
Please Bring:

​​​1. **Water**: At least 2-3 liters to stay hydrated in the desert heat.

​​​2. **Snacks**: High-energy snacks like protein bars, nuts, or fruit.

​​​3. **Hiking shoes**: Sturdy shoes with good grip for rocky terrain.

​​​4. **Sun protection**: Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses.

​​​5. **Comfortable clothing**: Lightweight, moisture-wicking clothes, plus a jacket if it’s chilly in the morning. Costumes encouraged!

​​​7. **Navigation tools**: Phone with maps, or GPS (optional but helpful).

​​​8. **First-aid kit**: Basic items like band-aids, pain relievers, and blister treatment.
