About the Speakers
Dr Suraj Nair, is the Founder & CTO of Speedcargo Technologies, a deep tech start-up that provides solutions for the air freight and logistics sector. He has over 16 years of experience in the Robotics and AI domain. Dr. Nair holds a PhD in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. Between 2005 - 2014 he was active in the European Robotics space and has contributed to robotics projects in the automotive, ICT, medical and aerospace sectors. He founded the Speedcargo project in 2015 funded by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and the National Research Foundation, Singapore.
Alrik Tan, is the Chief Scientific Officer at Natural Trace, a Singapore-based start-up which leverages on natural ingredients as tags to track products throughout the supply chain for better transparency. He has over a decade of experience in Singapore's innovation and intellectual property ecosystem, where he contributed to the successful commercialisation of medical diagnostic kits with start-ups and research groups. Alrik holds a Bachelors in Biomedical Science from the University of Western Australia (UWA) and Masters in Innovation and Intellectual Property Management from the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
