Floating in the balance: playful movements of hanging mobiles

The elegant and playful motions of hanging mobiles almost look like they are dancing as they float and dangle in the air. Shifts and transformations of each element in a mobile keep the harmony of coexistence with one another. The art of hanging mobiles gently reminds us to be present and observe what’s around us and embrace it.

This workshop shares one of the important lessons in life - to be agile and playful. Through crafting a hanging mobile, we will contemplate how we can transform ourselves in order to float in a current of constant changes that are around and within us.

Decorate your mobile with your own style - from abstract and minimalist to whimsical and representational. Please feel free to bring pieces from your memorable moments or favourite objects to add another layer of story and meaning to this art form.
