Get inspired by different interpretations of work-life balance at this World Café event on the evening of January 10th, where we’ll share stories, experiences, and insights about achieving a healthy work-life balance.
Urban Room is a community social space at Quarry Bay.
It is located on the ground floor of the iconic 'Monster Building,' which is a source of inspiration for artists and holds cultural significance.
💭 The Why
Work-life balance is not news to us, but how do we work to have a life, and how do we live in a way that supports our work? This is the question at hand.
This is a space where we can discuss our experiences and perspectives on this topic. We can share what we have tried and explore new approaches we can adopt in 2025 as we start the new year. If you care about work-life balance, let’s come together for this collaborative conversation to inspire one another.

☕ The How - World Cafe
World Cafe is a discussion format driven by intentionally crafted questions, designed for 12 or more people to Think Together. 🌎☕️
In the process, participants are divided into small groups to discuss a question, and then join a new group to discuss the next one.
There will be three rounds, each 15 to 20 minutes.
After that, everyone comes together to share what they learned. We'll be able to take home the main ideas, themes, and insights that emerged from the discussions.

7 pm doors open. You can bring your own food and kindly finish it by 7:30 pm.

💰What is the cost?
Standard: HKD 120 per person, including water and tea provided by the space, and a $50 cash coupon to be used in Urban Room.
Supporter: If you wish to support future World Cafes, which we will endeavor host monthly for the community, there is a flexible pricing option starting from HKD 150.
🏃🏻♀️What if I can't arrive by 7 pm?
No worries. We understand that work schedules can be fluid sometimes. The first 30 minutes are for us to freshen up and get ready. Kindly arrive before 7:30 p.m. to join the sharing session. ✨ What happens if the event has reached its full capacity (12 people in this case)?
You will be placed on the waiting list. If a spot opens up, I’ll reach out to you so you can decide whether you want to join. If no spots become available, a full refund will be issued
