Write for Palestine 🖊️
As the hosts of Climate writers 🌱 we (Eezu, Marlene and Grisha) recognise the genocide that is happening in Palestine and we find it personally urgent to reach out and do what we can to take action.
Some ways to take action (thanks Jess from APAN!):
Boycotts, divestments and sanctions
Emailing your senator and local state MP to stop providing arms or recognise the state of Palestine
Supporting ICC action against Netanyahu and Gallant
Please note that this is a communally-run event and will be less formally run vs. other sessions. We are by no means experts, and welcome you to pitch in any ideas / resources.
This is a big issue and there are of course basic road rules to note:
This session is largely for people who also recognise the genocide and wish to take action (i.e. not session for political debate or discussion, but we are open to private discussion).
We are focused on humanitarian action and do not permit any kind of racism nor religious discrimination.
