August Sabha

​​​​Sabha means “assembly” — and that’s what we’re trying to be: a gathering spot for South Asian creatives to show off what they’ve been working on! We've put on a couple great special events these past few months, and are excited to celebrate one whole year of Sabha by going back to our usual offering – an evening of performances by local artists, transgressing boundaries of all sorts around South Asian arts.

​​​​​​We are an inclusive space for creatives of all religions, nationalities, castes, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and other identities and backgrounds.

​​​​Doors open at 6:30 and the event will start at 7.

​​​Tickets are $15. Please Venmo your payment to @vinithras with your name and "8/23 Sabha Ticket". Your registration will be approved after you've venmoed!

​​​The venue is a 15-min walk from the NoMa/Gallaudet Metro Station and is bus-accessible.

​​​​​Accessibility information: There is a wheelchair-accessible entrance toward the right side of the building. Please wear a (K)N95 mask when not eating or drinking, we will also provide some at the door. We will have open windows (if weather permits) and air purifiers on site. Please do not attend if sick/exposed.
