Love Your River: Volunteer Beach Cleanup - All Members Welcome!
📍 Kelley Point Park
🗓 Thursday, May 29
🕡 Please arrive by 6:30 PM so we can head out together
All Tribe members are welcome!
Let’s show some love to the river that gives us so much.
Join us for a Beach Cleanup at Kelley Point Park — a chance to care for the beautiful shoreline, connect with community, and enjoy the outdoors with purpose.
For those who have not been to Kelley Point, it is the shoreline where the Willamette and Columbia rivers meet! Bald eagles are known to frequent the area and on clear days there is a pretty view of Mt. Hood.
I’ll have buckets and gloves ready — just bring yourself, a water bottle or snack if you'd like, and anything else you’d like for comfort (layers, comfy shoes etc.). We’ll gather at 6:30 PM sharp so we can head out as a group and make the most of our evening together. We will walk about 2 miles of flat beach together.
If you have a dog that's good off-leash and who likes other dogs, feel free to bring them!
Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or just want to dip your toes into giving back, this is a laid-back, feel-good way to make a difference while walking a beautiful beach.
🌊 Let’s leave the beach better than we found it — together.
In Community,
