Sunday Hike to Tegernsee

​Ready to shake off winter and hit the trails? Join us for a beautiful day hike on Sunday, June 8, as we explore the Riedelstein Loop at Tegernsee!

​We're easing into the season with a heart-pumping but beginner-friendly hike. Expect good company, scenic views, and maybe a cold drink at the top.

​🚆 Meet-Up Details:

​Train: BRB RB57 (covered by the Deutschland Ticket)

​Departure: 9:02 AM from München Hbf

​Arrival: 10:05 AM at Tegernsee

🐾 Note: Pets are not included on the Deutschland Ticket. If you're bringing your dog, you'll need to purchase a child ticket for them.

​🚗 Drivers: Feel free to meet us directly at Tegernsee train station around 10:05 AM.

​🥾 Hike Info:

​Distance: 10.33 km (6.42 miles)

​Duration: ~3.5 hours walking time

​Elevation Gain: ~460 meters (1500 ft)

​Difficulty: Intermediate – well-maintained paths, nothing technical

​Highlight: An alpine hut near the summit for drinks and snacks!

​🧳 What to Bring:

​€€ for the hut (cash is best)

​Snacks/lunch (in case you get extra hungry or need fuel to get to the top)

​Plenty of water

​A sweat towel (yes, it’s time)

​Layers for changing weather

​Comfortable hiking shoes

​Blister protection (band-aids or a DIY trick like electrical tape under your socks – works like magic!)
