Meet your Host : Oana Buda
Hi OTC, I’m Oana—and for those of you I haven’t met yet, here’s the deal: I love extremes. Work hard, play hard, sport hard, party harder, and above all… stay curious.
I’m an architect turned real estate consultant, investor, and developer—but we’re not here to talk business (unless you’re curious, in which case… my DMs are open 😋).
I’m here to tell you how I ended up writing this description.
After a sabbatical that took me from the Camino de Santiago to the Inca Trail and all the way down to Patagonia, something totally unexpected happened. When I got back home to Madrid, I fell in love with the one thing I used to hate: running.
Yep, the girl who swore you should only run if a dog was chasing you is now a proud marathon finisher and the founder of social running clubs. We combine easy runs with good vibes, hidden corners of the city, and curated dinners and drinks. Think of it as a moving party—with a splash of cardio.
Come join us. Your legs (and your social life) will thank you.
What to expect on your Running Route:
The run will be 35-45 minutes long.
5km approx every 6/7 mins.
We will have a few indicated meeting points for the faster runners.
The priority here is to have a compact group and connected running experience so members can buddy up & follow your pace.
Expect a beautiful nature run accompanied by OTC members
Meeting point: Meet up @ puerta del rio (metro principe pio) - will link exact location 24 hours prior to the run.
Post-Run Spot: Urugallo – Casa de Campo
After hitting the trails in Madrid’s iconic Casa de Campo, unwind at Urugallo, a popular post-run meetup for our club. With its spacious terrace, scenic park views, and a solid menu of Spanish classics and refreshing drinks, it's the perfect place to refuel and socialize. Whether you’re in the mood for a proper meal or just a cold beer after your run, Urugallo has you covered. Casual, welcoming, and conveniently located near several park entrances—this is our go-to recovery spot.
Let’s go the distance—together.
