About Event

Design is all around us—often unnoticed, yet deeply influential. From the buildings we inhabit to the signs we follow and the images we consume, design shapes how we move, interact, and understand the world.

This panel brings together leading voices in architecture, visual and display design, and information design to explore how design quietly—but powerfully—impacts our everyday lives. Together, we’ll unpack how form meets function in public space, how curated visuals guide behavior and emotion, and how well- (or poorly-) designed information affects access, equity, and understanding.

Join us for a lively, cross-disciplinary conversation that makes the invisible visible—and invites you to look at the everyday with fresh eyes.

Participating Panelists:

  • Jonny Hehr, GGA Architects

  • Rowaz Abo Mazid, Information Designer & Instructor, MRU

  • Jennifer Scott Reid, IKEA

Doors Open: 6:00PM Panel Begins: 6:30PM Panel Ends: 8:00PM Reception until 9:00PM
