About Event

Tired of “Black Mirror”–style doom and gloom? Join Steph Clarke (Futurist) and Megan Davis (Narrative Strategist) and play a board game that puts you in the lead role of exploring the coexistence of technology and humanity across a variety of futures that are hopeful, good, bad, and ugly; all at the same time.

Centring love and hope might seem rebellious, even frivolous, but it’s what makes civilisation possible, no matter what futures play out.

Emerging trends and technologies will both support our most precious bonds and cultures, and threaten them. In this story-driven game of chance, you will experience how human traits like empathy, creativity, and storytelling can shape a future that values deeper connection, intimacy, and friendship.

You will leave with fresh ideas on the type of connected future you want to create, the conversations and decisions you may need to have and make now, plus practical strategies for leveraging new (and old) tech to foster genuine relationships.
