Speakers
Changlin Li -
Changlin is the Co-Founder of the AI Safety Awareness Foundation. Changlin began his career at the Systemized Intelligence Lab at Bridgewater Associates for 5 years before joining Vowel.com (now acquired by Zapier) as a founding engineer for 4 years. Along the way he did a stint at the Recurse Center in New York City studying formal verification of software and then another stint at the Recurse Center with a focus on modern AI and AI safety. Changlin holds an A.B. in Mathematics with a Secondary Concentration in Comparative Religion from Harvard University.Rupi Sureshkumar -
Rupi is a technical Product Manager and AI Safety Entrepreneur. She studied AI at UPenn via a combined degree in Computer Science & Cognitive Science, and went on to spend over a decade as a Product Manager at Microsoft Azure and Meta. At Meta, she spent many years working in Trust & Safety, where she built Machine Learning systems to detect fake accounts across Facebook & Instagram and built features to address active regulation regarding teens and social media. She is now an active contributor to the AI Safety space. She was an entrepreneur-in-residence in the Catalyze Impact accelerator program, worked with the UK AISI on a new model eval, and is currently engaged in multiple efforts in the space - including building more of an AI Safety community here in NY!
