✨ Participation: Presentation + Q&A at the end
Too often, leadership training is heavy on theory and light on impact. In this session, Jessica Dixon shares how she designed a program that managers chose to participate in — not because they had to, but because it helped them lead better, right away. You’ll hear what worked, what didn’t, and how to build development experiences around practical, usable skills. Walk away with real-world tactics to drive both engagement and application — and skip the parts that fall flat.
Key Take-ways:
Meet managers where they are – Design programs that align with the realities of their time, context, and challenges.
Move from concept to application – Don’t just teach leadership theory; show what “good” looks like with clear, practical examples.
Build in accountability – Use intentional assignments, nudges, and support structures to drive both participation and follow-through.
Make growth visible and worth celebrating – Reinforce commitment by recognizing progress and involving peers and leaders in the celebration.
See you there!
Joana Alex.
