Whether you’ve been to Drawing Room before or not, we want to get to know each other before our Williamsburg location opens its doors on May 10th. Come hang, draw, knit, and make May Day Baskets with pals for Drawing Room’s first ever Community Day in Brooklyn! Find us near the Starbucks entrance into the park and look for our Drawing Room flag flying high. Can’t wait to meet you!

12-5 Group Project
The group project will be open all day! Let’s take some guesses as to what the new Drawing Room space looks like; will there be another big red couch?!
12-1:30 Book Talk + writing
Let’s talk books and we’ll wrap it up with a guided writing exercise!
1:30-3:30 Group stretch & Figure Drawing
Get moving with a guided group stretch-sesh before we start drawing. Then let’s grab a pen and your sketchbook to do some figure drawing in the fresh air!
3:30-5 Knitting Circle & May Day Baskets
Bring your work-in-progress knitting/crochet projects to the park! We’ll also have May Day basket-making supplies at-the-ready so you can gift a basket to a friend!
